Two Broadcasts

Written by Rob Hogendoorn

On October 3, 2022, the Dutch current affairs programme Een Vandaag on NPO 1 aired a report by Sander ‘t Sas. The item was prompted by the Arte-documentary ‘Abuse in Buddhism: The Law of Silence.’ Ricardo Mendes, Oane Bijlsma and I look back on the Dalai Lama’s default on promises made during their 2018 meeting.

A VPN with a Dutch location is needed to watch the report. The language is Dutch, but OKC-spokesman Ricardo Mendes’ contribution is English-spoken.

That same day, I was interviewed on this subject by Suzanne Bosman during the live broadcast of Een Vandaag’s radio programme on NPO Radio 1. This episode is available online too. Our interview on the Dalai Lama’s empty promises starts at 25.40 mins. and is about nine minutes long. The item is Dutch-spoken.
